Saturday, February 11th: Valentine’ Day will be celebrated by Mansfield Rotarians and their partners at Sweeney’s II Restaurant. This is a repeat of the successful event held there last year. You have a choice of three entrees including New York Strip Steak at $21.95, Honey Glazed Chicken at $15.95, and Grilled Halibut at $16.95 per person. Please let Skip Holmes know immediately if you are going to attend, how many, and what meals you want. Reservations must be made this week.

EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
Youth Exchange: Aria Berger is our student going to Italy for a four-week program this summer.
Group Study Exchange; Jamie Chamberlain, a Spanish teacher from Clearfork, is our choice for the GSE program to Chile this summer.
Mansfield will be asked to host 4-5 GSE participants from Chili this May. Talk to your significant other now about hosting an energetic, young professional for a week at that time.

Tim Campbell is looking for invocators for the months of February, March, and April. Please contact him at (419) 524-3456 or tcampbell7@neo.rr.com and let him know when you can provide an Invocation. He will be following up at next week’s meeting also.

Membership is Everyone’s Responsibility
Have you asked someone who is not yet a Rotarian to join you at one of our lunches? That is often the first step in the process. Call that person this week. You will be amazed at how easy it is to attract a good person to membership!!

REHAB CENTER TELETHON
The Rehab Center Telethon will be held on WMFD-TV on Sunday, February 4th. The Club will match any Rotarian’s $25 dollar contribution with a $10 matching gift. Checks must be given to Pat Chilcote before the event. Make checks to “Rehab Center Telethon.” Jim Schaum, the President/CEO of The Rehab Center, will also “match” every $25 contribution with a $25 contribution of his own. That is something his predecessor never offered to do and he, too, is a Rotarian! In other words, your $25 contribution turns into a $60 contribution. Not bad…

The McGowan Courage awards will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center. This would be a great time to bring a spouse, guest, or potential Rotarian. Plan ahead…

CORVETTE RAFFLE
Watch for the Corvette raffle tickets hitting your mail boxes around February 1st. the Club wants to sell 4,000 tickets for a drawing to be held toward the end of June. Bill Davison will spearhead the effort. Stay tuned…
